Race for the cure 09

Saturday was our annual Race for the Cure. This was Heath and Sterling's first year to do it so we just did the Family Fun Run/Walk...we walked, of course! Sterling was so excited to go to "the race". He kept asking where all the cars were...he thought we were going to a car race! haha Then he was even more excited when he realized that we were the ones racing!
I didn't get any pictures with our team Kitchen Queens! Sorry we were late girls!! Hard to get up these days!
Can't start a race without a little warm-up with the cousins! Uncle Chad led them in a little warm-up session! TOO CUTE!!
Clayton, Caiden, and Sterling literally walked like this the entire way...except halfway up this hill Caiden and Sterling got a little tired and rode for just a second. Then at the top of the hill it was back to this!
SOOOO cute! Caiden fell and got a skinned knee, so Sterling and Clayton finished the race like this...
Then it was off to get some free goodies! Sterling enjoyed them a little too much! Good thing they were handing out packages of Huggies wipes!! Then he got to throw the baseball...16 mph...
He then said that we had to get pictures with him and all the "big things"! haha
Sterling said to me,"this guy is the mad guy." I said,"he's not mad Sterling. Why do you think that?" He said, "because look at his eyebrows. They are down. That means he is mad."
Very observant I thought!

where have we been??

Here is where we spent the entire week last week...
poor baby had a very bad case of bronchitis. Fever for a few days, up throughout the night, and didn't eat for a week...no joke. He would take a bite of something and spit the second bite out. We felt so bad for him. But he has slowly been getting better this weekend. Still not himself though.
Me...well that's another story. See that was a perfect week for us to just lay around because this momma hasn't been feeling good either. This pregnancy is TOTALLY different than with Sterling. I have had morning sickness all throughout the day. To top it all off, my allergies have been going CRAZY!! AND I get up to pee, no exaggerations here, at least 4 times during the nights. Can you say annoying!!!
Bunch of things to get caught up on! Happy Monday! :)

Introducing....

Baby Brown #2!! I know you can't tell what anything is but we were able to see the little heartbeat and it was 131...perfect! It was so sweet!! The baby is a whole 1 cm and measuring right on! It basically looks exactly like the little ticker thing I put on my sidebar.
Let me say thank you so much for all your prayers!! I felt them all. I was pretty nervous but excited all at the same time.
Like I said the Dr. felt something behind my uterus on Thursday and ordered an ultrasound asap. He wasn't really worried but just wanted to have it checked out. And whatever he was feeling was painful to me...so much that it took my breath away when he would touch it.
Well the tech looked ALL over and found that I have a backwards tilted uterus and a cyst on one of my ovaries, but it is a cyst that pregnant women get in the beginning to regulate the progesterone and will go away in a while. So we are guessing that is what he was feeling?? Not sure. I still don't have a for sure answer but I am more relieved that I was able to see the baby and see all over my insides!!
I am still in kind of a shock that I have another little baby inside of me. I guess it just hasn't sunk in yet since Sterling has been the one and only for so long. It kind of doesn't seem possible that I could have another one. Anyone know what I'm talking about!?!
Anyways, I am starting to "feel" pregnant. The "morning sickness" has started except it's not just in the mornings and I can't control it with food this time...UGH! So I basically have waves of yucky nauseousness that can't be controlled. I haven't thrown up, but I am just now 7 weeks and starting this whole process, but hopefully it will just stay like it is now and not get any worse...I can handle this! And of course, I am SO exhausted. Even after like 10 hours of sleep I am ready to go back to bed for a nap!
I am anxious to get caught up on everyone's blogs, but will have to wait until tomorrow...I'm turning in early these days! :)

a quick prayer...

Just a quick request, I'll explain later after I know something.
I am going tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday) to have an ultrasound done. My Dr. felt some kind of mass behind my uterus on Thursday when I went in and wants an ultrasound done to see what's going on.
Kinda freaked out here. So if you could say a little prayer for me and this baby that would be awesome...thank you!!!

Sterling's Easter Pictures

I am happy the way that these turned out, but wish I would have waited and let The Picture People do them with the rest of his cousins. Anyway, I think they are adorable but, of course, I'm partial! :) Enjoy...

Sterling's reaction to the big news

This is totally not rehearsed. True, raw footage here! haha

So, we had been telling Sterling all day that we had something exciting to tell him and once it was time to tell him, I couldn't get the words out right at first! It's hilarious when we ask him where the baby is...too funny! If you see my lips go with Sterling's when Heath asks him if he wants a baby brother or sister, that's because he has been saying for months now that he already has a baby sister. So I already knew what his answer was going to be!

He is so excited to be a big brother and we think he's going to be awesome at it!

Madame Zaritska better be wrong!

Madame Zaritska predicts your birth experience
The day you deliver, outside will be bright. Your baby will arrive in the middle of the night. After a labor lasting approximately 10 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 13 pounds, 14 ounces, and will be 21 inches long. This child will have light hazel eyes and a lot of black hair.
*OH MY WORD! Could you just imagine!! This was funny but most of it (except being a girl) better not be true! 13 lbs and 14 oz...I guess that could possibly be true if I go to full term. Oh dear.
If you want to take this fun little prediction thing go here...
